Anchor Health Properties Marks Tenth Anniversary of its Investments Platform with Strategic New Hires and Office Expansion
As Anchor Health Properties marks the tenth year of its Investments platform, the company continues to strengthen its capabilities in response to growing demand from health system and physician partners.
“This milestone reflects the strength of our partnerships and the discipline behind our approach to healthcare real estate over the past ten years,” shared James Schmid, Chief Investment Officer with Anchor Health Properties. “From the outset, our focus has been on delivering thoughtful, relationship-driven capital solutions. Today, we are well positioned in the market and remain committed to expanding that impact for health system, physician, and capital partners nationwide.”
Building on this continued momentum, Anchor Health Properties also welcomes several key additions to its Investments team, including:
- Dan Cain, Senior Vice President, Investments
- Rob Grove, Investment Analyst
- Parker Rajewski, Investment Analyst
They join an established team led by Elliott Sellers, Senior Vice President & Partner, Investments alongside Rob Rumer, Vice President of Underwriting, and Drew Sandler, Investment Associate.
“This addition of talent is a clear indicator of the direction our investments team is heading and the depth of relationships we continue to cultivate nationwide,” shared Mr. Sellers. “As we enter the tenth year of our Investments platform, we remain focused on scaling intentionally - bringing in exceptional professionals and broadening the resources needed to support the long-term objectives of our health system, physician, and capital partners.”
Since its launch in 2016, the Investments platform has played a central role in Anchor Health Properties’ integrated approach to healthcare real estate investment, development, and management. Today, the team remains focused on aligning capital strategy with the strategic needs of health systems, physicians, and healthcare delivery models nationwide. The growth has continued in 2026 with approximately $75 million of closed investments year to date and $50 million of closings in the coming weeks.
With more hires planned in 2026, Anchor Health Properties has relocated its Washington, DC-area office to a larger space located at 1655 Fort Myer Drive in Arlington, Virginia, providing additional capacity for the growing Investments team and enhancing coordination across the firm.
