Anchor Health Properties Marks Construction Commencement of a 20,000 SF Ground Up Development in the Atlanta MSA

Furthering the company’s nearly one million square foot presence in the greater Atlanta MSA, Anchor has commenced construction on a single story, 20,626 square foot medical outpatient building in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Strategically positioned adjacent to an existing three story, 40,000 square foot healthcare facility acquired by Anchor in 2023, inclusion of the pad ready land site was integral to the strategic analysis and evaluation of the overall acquisition.

Located at 595 Hurricane Shoals Road within the medical cluster surrounding Northside Gwinnett Hospital, this development will create a multi specialty outpatient campus serving the high growth community. The facility will be designed with the patient’s comfort and convenience in mind with spacious waiting areas, ample parking, and easy accessibility. With a focus on women and children, prominent tenancy includes The Women’s Group of Gwinnett, a local physician practice providing OB /GYN care, and US Fertility, a nationwide network of physician owned fertility clinics. Complementary tenancy at the adjacent building includes Northside Health, Fresenius Medical Care, Georgia Nephrology, Palmetto Infusion, Amedisys Home Health, and Gwinnett Pediatrics, continuing the strong alignment between Anchor, local and regional healthcare providers, and the neighboring hospital.

Mindful of how the spatial flow and placement of services within the overall building will affect the patient experience as well as providers’ business plans, the dynamic, purpose built multi specialty facility offers physician groups the opportunity to design and manage their suite to maximize productivity and efficiency as it relates to suite footprint, medical equipment, and support space while leveraging the integration of new technologies to provide the highest quality of care to the local patient population.
