Anchor Health Properties Continues Long-Term Campus Expansion Strategy in Lawrenceville with Third MOB

Further strengthening the Horizon Professional Center campus as a premier healthcare destination in the Lawrenceville market, Anchor Health Properties has officially broken ground on a third medical outpatient building. The 30,000 square foot facility will be master leased to Northside Hospital, reinforcing the campus’s role as a key outpatient hub in the greater Atlanta area.

Located at 595 Hurricane Shoals Road, the new development builds on Anchor Health Properties’ existing two MOB outpatient campus, which continues to expand access to coordinated care in close proximity to Northside Gwinnett Hospital. Anchor Health Properties is leading all aspects of project delivery, providing expertise across due diligence, financial analysis, planning, programming, design and construction oversight, and post-occupancy commissioning. In alignment with its integrated real estate platform, Anchor Health Properties will also provide on-going asset and property management services to support long-term operational performance and stability.

Strategically positioned within Lawrenceville’s medical corridor, the project expands access to high-quality outpatient care in a rapidly growing submarket while further advancing the vision for a fully integrated healthcare campus. The new facility is expected to house a complementary mix of outpatient services that will enhance the care offerings already available across the existing MOBs.

“With Northside Hospital as the anchor tenant, this addition responds directly to continued demand for well-located medical outpatient space,” added Joe Hackney, Senior Development Director with Anchor Health Properties. “It further reinforces a unified healthcare destination model that supports providers and patients through thoughtful design and proximity to hospital-based care.”

The project team includes regionally based firms with extensive healthcare facility experience, including LDDBlueline serving as the architect, Trident Construction Group serving as the general contractor, Travis Pruitt & Associates serving as the civil engineer, and Westside Engineering providing MEP engineering services. The facility is slated for completion in Q1 2027.
