Anchor Health Properties Celebrates Topping Out Milestone for New 80,0000 Square Foot On-Campus Medical Outpatient Facility in Lakeland, Florida
Committed to pursuing better healthcare through real estate solutions, Anchor proudly celebrated the topping out of a transformative 80,000 square foot multi-specialty medical outpatient building on the Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital campus.
The ceremony marked the final beam being placed atop the structure, symbolizing a major milestone in the construction process and bringing the project one step closer to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to Florida’s heartland.
“This topping out represents more than just steel and concrete coming together,” said Will Foster, Senior Development Director with Anchor. “It’s about collaboration, vision, and commitment to expanding access to world-class healthcare right here in Lakeland. As someone who lives and works in this community, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the progress we’ve made alongside Orlando Health, Watson Clinic, and the entire project team.”
Developed in collaboration with Orlando Health, one of the Southeast’s leading healthcare systems, and Watson Clinic, a physician-led practice known for clinical excellence, the new facility will house a variety of outpatient services designed to improve care coordination and enhance the patient experience. Physicians will have privileges across both the new outpatient building and the adjacent hospital, ensuring continuity of care for the region’s growing patient population.
The project team features regionally based firms with extensive healthcare expertise, including HuntonBrady Architects and Hoar Construction, both recognized for delivering high-quality, patient-focused facilities across the Southeast.
Slated for completion in early Q2 2026, the new facility reflects the shared commitment of Anchor, Orlando Health, and Watson Clinic to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and meeting the needs of the Lakeland community for generations to come.
